In 1970, after attending the University of Idaho and returning from active duty in the National Guard, Bob joined Manufacturers Life as an agent in Spokane WA. In 1972 Bob was transferred to Milwaukee WI. and started his career in the life brokerage business. After three years, Bob was promoted to Brokerage Manager in Portland OR. Over the following twenty plus years, Bob built the office into one of the top brokerage offices in the area.
In 1997, Bob left Manulife to start his own Agency (CIS) in order to provide his brokers with the variety of products and underwriting to need for their clients. Bob is a registered representative with securities sold through The Leaders Group. Bob has been active on the local boards of NAIFA and The Society of Financial Service Professionals and is a current member of the Portland Estate Planning Council.
Karen joined CIS in 2006 with a background in customer relations. Karen answers the phone, but does so much more. For some of you she does case management, she can do policy owner service, and does the contracting & licensing for you. When you call, you hear her smile through the phone.
Aaron started part time in 1999 while attending college. After graduating from Portland State University in 2001, he joined us full time. Aaron is extremely knowledgeable in the LTC market and knows our various companies’ life products better than anyone in the office. Aaron is also expert in finding offers for your hard to underwrite case.
